What's the color of your iTan?

Some of the most frustrating arguments I've ever had with my husband had to do with my cell phone. My cell phone felt like a 3rd person in our marriage at one point. I was trying to build a business and felt I had to be on Facebook and IG, engaging with my followers at all hours of the day.
Shaun, adjusting to this new way of doing business, couldn't help but assume I was just scrolling to zone out. But I wasn't, I was hustling. When he would get frustrated with my distant behavior he would ask how my iTan was going - since the screen was ALWAYS in my face.
This led to me to hiding in the closet, bathroom or garage just to get some work done so I could avoid feeling like I was cheating on our family. Sounds dramatic but it really was that bad.
When I finally realized this was not healthy I put down some boundaries. It changed my life. I go on social media in the morning for one-hour to do business. Then I log out until the evening time when I hop back on, respond to comments, engage with my followers and schedule my posts for the next day. It's a total max of 2 hours a day. Some people need more time but this works for me. If you're struggling, create a system and stick to it.
You won't regret it.
